The Geek in Pink: Ch. 1Good heavens. Look at all those hot guys. People whizzed past me like tornadoes. Papers were flying everywhere, books were being dropped and picked up, locker doors were being slammed closed and wrenched open, and, in general, everyone was making quite an amount of noise. People were hugging, talking, screaming, even making out; but that is what one would expect on the first day of school. I could feel all the emotions being thrown into the air—excitement at a new year starting, disappointment at a summer gone, and fear of their new teachers. I closed my eyes and soaked it all in.
